Pre-sales/Order

Go to www.diskeeper.com. From the main navigation, place your mouse over the PURCHASE (do not click), then use the drop down menu to select the public type that best describes you. From here you will see Helpful Links on the right for Full Editions, Upgrade Edition and Special Bundles. Select the tab that best fits your needs. Then, simply add the products you need to the shopping cart. If you need more information on any product, simply click on the product name for more information about that specific product.

Please note that online ordering is automated and therefore much faster than placing an order by e-mail or phone because you are not limited by our business hours.

Please include the following information in your Request:

  • The product name you are interested in (specify full or upgrade)
  • The number of units you wish to order
  • Your contact name, phone number and email address

When you pay with credit/debit card or PayPal during the checkout process, your product will be delivered immediately via electronic software download upon confirmation of your order.

If you pay by check or money order your product will be sent to you within 24-48 hours after your payment has been received and processed. Once your order has been processed, your software will be delivered via electronic software download in an email and you will be sent an invoice by mail.

A back up copy of your software is also added to your Diskeeper Account immediately following the confirmation of your order. If you do not have a Diskeeper Account, one is created for you at the time of your purchase using the email address from your purchase. If you already have an account, your software will be added to your existing account based on the email address used during your purchase.

Our volume license sales team would be happy to send you a quote upon request. Volume license discounts are available for companies with as few as 20 PCs or 5 servers. Please fill out our online quote request form to request a written quote.

Our software is now available exclusively via electronic software download through the online store. We are no longer selling CDs online. However, we do save a back-up copy of your purchased software in your Diskeeper Account that we create for you at the time of your purchase. Just go to your Diskeeper Account and login to re-download and install your software. You may also create your own back-up CD. The files that should be saved to a CD are Diskeeper2010_ProductName.exe & ProductName.DAL. These files should have been downloaded and saved to a location that you specified.

To qualify for Diskeeper Corporation academic pricing you MUST hold a valid email address at your current educational institution. View supported Educational Institutions[PDF]. If your school is NOT listed, please submit a customer support request to have your school added to this list.

To be considered, please include the following information about your school: Name, website URL, State or Country, Domain Name and your school email address.

Diskeeper 2010 supports upgrades from version 2008 and 2009 (two versions back). Now through August 31, 2010, you can take advantage of our Amnesty Upgrade program. This program will allow you to upgrade older licenses to Diskeeper 2010, as long as it is for the same edition. These are special upgrade licenses that will allow you to do a clean install on your system as long as you own a previous version of the software.

Undelete 2009 supports upgrades from version 4 and 5 (two versions back).

To upgrade, simply go to www.diskeeper.com. From the main navigation, place your mouse over the PURCHASE (do not click), then use the drop down menu to select the public type that best describes you. Under Helpful Links on the right, select Upgrade Editions, review the different upgrade options and select the one that is right for you. If you are running an older version of Diskeeper that is not listed, you will need to purchase a full edition of the software. If you still need assistance, please submit a customer support request.

If you purchased the wrong product edition, you may be able to upgrade to the edition of the product that you do need. Please check the upgrade section of our website and see if there is an option available to upgrade to the edition you wanted.

If you do not see an upgrade path that will help you to get the product you need, please submit a customer support request.

Include the following information:
  • Your order number or the email address you ordered with
  • The name of the product you purchased
  • The name of the product you meant to purchase

Open Diskeeper and look in the upper left corner of the window to view what edition and version you are running. Please refer to the example below:

You only need HyperFast® solid state drive optimizer if your PC or server has a Solid State Drive (SSD). If you do not have an SSD, purchase Diskeeper without HyperFast. Visit our HyperFast section for more information on this technology.

A Solid State Drive (SSD) is a data storage device that uses solid-state memory to store persistent data. An SSD emulates a hard disk drive interface, thus easily replacing it in most applications.

If you already have Diskeeper® 2010 performance software and you would like to add a HyperFast Add-on to your specific product edition, you can now do so online. For verification purposes you will need to have the following information from your Diskeeper Account ready:
  • Any Order Number from your Diskeeper Account
  • The Email Address used for your Diskeeper Account
Go the purchase page for your public type: Business | Public Sector | Home

Enter the Order Number from your Diskeeper Account next to the HyperFast Add-on product you would like to purchase. Click Add to Cart and you will be asked to verify your email address. Based on the information provided, we will check your account to see how many HyperFast Add-on licenses in total for this edition you qualify for and adjust the quantity available for purchase accordingly.

If you have multiple Diskeeper 2010 editions in your account that you would like to buy a HyperFast add-on for, please enter the same Order Number next to each of the product editions you need and we will verify your eligibility for each edition. Diskeeper 2010 has only one version and it is compatible with both the 32 and 64 bit systems.

Compared with all other payment types, paying by credit card or PayPal will ensure the fastest order processing.

Products will be delivered after your order has been confirmed and your credit card has been charged. Upon confirmation, products are delivered immediately via electronic software download.

To ensure that we can deposit your check/money order, please be sure to make the check/money order out to Diskeeper Corporation.

It is also important that you enter the exact amount on your check/money order. This will ensure that your order is processed without delay.

If you are going to order by check/money order, please include the following information along with your check/money order:
  • Your name, email and phone number
  • Your physical mailing address (used to create your account)
  • Product name(s), price and quantity


Your software will be delivered via electronic software download after we have received and verified your check/money order. You should receive an email within 48 hours of payment receipt.

If you have any questions regarding placing an order with a check/money order, submit a customer support request.

Once you have selected the items you wish to purchase, simply select the "Check out with PayPal" option from the shopping cart and you will automatically be redirected to PayPal's website. You can then log in to PayPal as usual or set up a PayPal account to pay for your order. You will then be redirected back to Diskeeper.com to review and confirm your order. Please verify that your email address is correct before you confirm your order so your software gets sent to the correct email address.
If you would like to use a different email than you are using for your PayPal account, you can modify the confirmation page by simply selecting Edit, then updating your email address, selecting Save and then confirming your order.
Once your order is confirmed, you will get an online receipt and an email receipt. Both receipts will include your Diskeeper Account login information and a link to either download your software now or access your Diskeeper account to download your software.

All software purchased online is delivered via electronic software download.

Currently we are only accepting US dollar, although you can still make a purchase online from anywhere in the world using your credit card or PayPal account. Your credit card company may charge you for any additional currency exchange rates incurred.

If you purchased through the online store you will automatically receive a purchase receipt. If you need an invoice for your order, please send a request to websales@diskeeper.com with your order number. An invoice for your order will be issued only after payment is received.

For orders paid by check or money order, an invoice will be mailed to you after your payment is received and processed.

Any charge from Diskeeper Corporation for products purchased will be displayed as "Diskeeper Corporation" on your credit card or bank statement.

Several reasons may have caused the payment for your order to be declined.

Credit card payment: Recommended handlings for possible errors.

Error 12: The credit card was declined; please try using another credit card.
Error 23: Invalid account number; please verify the credit card number.
Error 24: Invalid expiration date; please verify the credit card expiration date.
Error 1011: Please contact us for assistance with your order.
Error 1002: Your shopping cart timed out, please close your browser and try again.

Furthermore, your information may have been entered incorrectly, or there may have been technical problems during the transmission of your data resulting in your order not having been paid. If you need assistance with your online order, please submit a customer support request.

PayPal payment: Due to a lack of feedback from a third party, such as your bank, your payment could not be confirmed.

Diskeeper Corporation stands behind its products 100%. If you are not completely satisfied with your software purchase, simply request a refund within 30 days of your purchase date for a full refund of the software purchase price. Complete the form below to request a refund.

Product Delivery

If you purchased online, you will receive a link to download your software immediately.

Once your order in confirmed, you will get an online receipt and an email receipt. Both receipts will include your Diskeeper Account login information and a link to either download your software now or access your Diskeeper account to download your software.

All software purchased online is delivered via electronic software download.

Diskeeper Corporation has taken strong measures to protect the security of your personal information. We take stringent precautions to protect your data from loss, misuse, unauthorized access or disclosure, alteration or destruction. We do not sell or give away information obtained from customers and prospective customers. View our Privacy Policy.

Typically, you will receive an .exe file which will allow you to immediately download your software. In some cases, you will be directed to your Diskeeper Account to download your software.

You should not need to enter an activation key. The activation file is built into the software so you should not have to manually enter one.

If you are asked for an activation key, it is possible that your Antivirus software or Firewall blocked the Diskeeper license file from being found and your purchased software may be replaced with trialware. To resolve this, simply uninstall the trialware and turn off your Anti-virus software or Firewall. Next, go to your Diskeeper Account and re-download your software. This should resolve the issue. Then turn your Antivirus or Firewall back on.

If you are still showing trialware and unable to activate your software please submit a customer support request and we will be happy to help you further.

My Diskeeper Account

In your Diskeeper Account you will find details of all products, maintenance, and upgrade assurance orders on your account. From here you can get your order numbers, view your maintenance or upgrade assurance expiration dates, view your license agreement, and download your software.

You are also given the ability to change your password from within your Diskeeper Account. If you would like to change your password now, you can do so by following the link below. Change your password

If you forgot your password, simply go to the Diskeeper Account login page. Under "Forgot Your Password?" enter your email address and click “Submit”. Your password will be sent to you in an email.

If your email address has changed and you would like to update your account with your new email address, you can do so by visiting your Profile Page. You will be asked to login to your account, then you will be able to modify or update your profile with your new email address.

If you are not able to do so and need assistance, please send an email to websales@diskeeper.com and include the following information:
  • Old email address (if you have more than one, please include all old emails)
  • New email address
  • Contact name, phone number and physical mailing address

To combine multiple Diskeeper Accounts, please submit a customer support request with the following information:

  • Old email address (if you have more than one, please include all old emails)
  • New email address
  • Contact name, phone number and physical mailing address
Once we have combined your accounts, we will send you an email back letting you know that it has been handled. If we need additional information before we can combine your accounts, we will contact you directly.



Maintenance/Upgrade Assurance

We are no longer selling maintenance contracts through the online store so when your contract expires it cannot be renewed. This is not retroactive so all existing maintenance contracts are still in effect. In the place of maintenance, we have recently launched a new program called Upgrade Assurance. See the next question for more information about Upgrade Assurance.

Volume license customer can still purchase and upgrade maintenance contracts. If you have any questions regarding the Diskeeper Corporation Volume Licensing Maintenance Program you can also contact a Diskeeper Corporation sales representative at 800-829-6468.

Upgrade Assurance is a program for Diskeeper Corporation customers that entitles them to free product updates and upgrades for either 1 or 2 Years, depending upon which plan is selected. Telephone technical support is not part of the Upgrade Assurance program.

Diskeeper 2010 and Undelete 2009 customers can purchase Upgrade Assurance. Customers with older editions will first need to upgrade to the latest edition before Upgrade Assurance can be added to these products.

Yes. You can renew your Upgrade Assurance in 1 or 2 year increments. You will receive renewal reminder emails prior to your Upgrade Assurance expiration date.

If you need assistance renewing your Upgrade Assurance, please submit a customer support request with the order number of your existing Upgrade Assurance, how many units you would like to renew and how many years (1 or 2) you would like to renew for. Please visit your Diskeeper Account to retrieve your order number.

Your Upgrade Assurance expiration date will be listed in your Diskeeper Account so you can verify this date and renew your Upgrade Assurance at any time. You will also receive email renewal reminders prior to your Upgrade Assurance expiration date.

If you need assistance renewing your Upgrade Assurance, please submit a customer support request with the order number of your existing Upgrade Assurance, how many units you would like to renew and how many years (1 or 2) you would like to renew for. Please visit your Diskeeper Account to retrieve your order number.

If your Upgrade Assurance expires, you will not be able to renew your Upgrade Assurance. Once your Upgrade Assurance expires, you will need to purchase an Upgrade to the latest edition of your software in order to again qualify for Upgrade Assurance.

All of the data entered on the protected pages is encrypted using the SSL (Secure Socket Layer) protocol.
