Principal Software Engineer

Windows Excellent position in our Software Development Division for a very experienced architect, designer and developer on the Windows OS platform, with expertise in C++/C#/.Net. This position will be part of our elite corps of Windows Principal Senior Software Engineers which has responsibility for maintaining high standards for architecture and design of our products. In addition this position reviews product team code, and assist in the correction and mentoring of senior software engineers and software engineers. The Principal Software Engineer also solves technical issues that can’t be solved by more junior engineers, and this position can involve hands-on development when necessary. Friendly, collaborative technical environment. Dress code is casual. Qualifications: Must have at least 10 years combined experience in architecture, design and development in C++ of Windows-based commercial software applications. Must have at least five years experience in Windows system internals. Additionally must have expertise in .Net development using C#. Experience with filter driver development a plus. Senior Web Designer / Developer

Diskeeper® Corporation is looking for a very hands-on creative web designer that can develop original work and use code mark-up, Flash mark-up, etc. This position is in charge of the design, look and feel, routing and user experience of our company’s global website. The ideal candidate will be able to do a full site redesign utilizing rich media.

Some of the duties involved are:

Detailed functions of the position:

• •  Determines the best routing for visitors of the global website so that they are quickly routed and serviced.
• •  Creates the Flow Charts for redesigns and changes to the website.
• •  Creates and keeps website projects on schedule. Uses collaboration tools as needed to keep project members in communication and producing rapidly.
• •  Coordinates with the Creative and/or Art Director to ensure a consistent design and brand image is portrayed to all visitors.
• •  Performs needed graphic and interactive design for the website.
• •  Coordinates with the Copywriter and other content providers for website content.
• •  Works with the SEO/SEM Manager to implement the named strategies to our website to increase our website traffic and rankings.
• •  Ensures the website is designed for best usability and current design standards for websites.
• •  Converts the web page designs from images into code.
• •  Gets usability testing done on the new website and website pages prior to launching them on the live site.
• •  Uses current design technology for best website experience such as using CSS, clean code, compressing images/videos for fast page loads, etc.
• •  Ensures our website follows set standards and compliances so that website pages look good in all identified browsers.
• •  Makes needed changes to website design and content that cannot be made via the CMS system.

USER EXPERIENCE DESIGNER

This position works with software engineers and product managers to design highly usable interfaces that deliver the best possible user experience for our Windows based software products. This position helps provide direction to improve the overall experience, usability and functionality of Diskeeper products.

Qualifications:
